Description: ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION (ENF) ANNUAL AUCTION.
Happy New Year! January begins the countdown to our annual, phenomenal, Elks National Foundation Auction coming your way on Sunday February 25th. Mark your calendars now for a great day, a day of giving to our ELKS National Foundation.
We rely on donations from the membership and local businesses to make this a success each year. We will be receiving items on Saturday the 24th of February, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Our Food Service Team, (The Amigos), will be selling sliders, hot dogs, and French fries. Our Ladies of Elks, as in years past, will be offering their delicious desserts. All profits generated from ALL food sales go directly to the Elks National Foundation.
The Elks National Foundation is the centerpiece of what Elkdom is all about on the national level. It supports our scholarship programs, youth activities, veterans’ programs, our Kitsap County Community Investment Programs and even our very own Washington State Therapy Program for Children (Tall Elks).
All of the money we have raised in previous auctions is still at work, for only the interest is used to support our programs. This has been that way since the programs beginning in 1928. Thus, we get more in returns each year than we donate. What other charity can you give to which can boast this type of structure?
This Lodge Year, Washington State received from the Elks National Foundation, $1.89 in return for every $1.00 donated last year. That is truly a program that keeps on giving. YOUR PARTICIPATION MAKES IT SO!
