Kate Keating Edsey, Development Manager Joined Team ENF: November 2008  Kate Keating Edsey was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She’s a proud graduate of Michigan State University, where she was a communications major. Kate has the distinction of being our first hire from State. She also studied abroad at the University of London. Kate moved to Chicago in 2003 and took a job with the Professional Convention Management Association. After a year and a half there, she joined Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children: The Foundation of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Most recently, Kate was the manager of foundation and resource development for the International Association of Defense Counsel. Kate joined the Elks National Foundation team in November 2008. “I’m excited to work for an organization whose members do so much for communities across the country,” she says of her new gig. Kate, a member of the Chicago Northshore, Ill., Lodge No. 1316, loves to travel and has visited more than 20 countries. She also enjoys exploring the great city of Chicago. But Kate's not always on the go. She enjoys the sedentary pursuit of watching sports and often can be found cheering rabidly for her beloved Spartans. Kate is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
