Brooke Moeller , Associate, Communications Joined Team ENF: July 2022  Brooke Moeller was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where she learned to accept below-freezing temperatures and losing football teams in preparation for her move to Chicago in July 2022. During her transition to Mid-Western living, Brooke spent almost four years in Kent, Ohio, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Global Studies at Kent State University. Her studies eventually led her on a path of internships at nonprofits and grassroots organizations, where she learned the value of foundations like the ENF. In her current role, Brooke is looking most forward to getting to know the hundreds of volunteers that make the ENF’s work possible. “It’s really inspiring to see how many people are dedicated to the work and mission of the ENF,” Brooke says. “It just goes to show how ENF programs can have an impact on communities.” Outside of work, Brooke frequents craft stores, concerts, ski slopes, hiking trails, and wherever else the wind may take her—no matter the distance. Brooke traveled to 15 countries on four different continents, all before she turned 21. Now, she looks forward to exploring everything Chicago has to offer. In September 2024, Brooke was promoted to Communications Associate.
