Hard Choices Digital Comic!
This just in: The Elks Drug Awareness Program has once again teamed with Marvel Entertainment and the federal government's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to bring you the Hard Choices comic book, featuring Marvel Super Heroes and Elroy the Elk in a battle against underage drinking!
Hard Choices is designed to educate fourth- through eighth-graders about the perils of underage drinking. In October 2007, almost 800,000 comic books were sent to select elementary and middle schools in Elks communities across the nation. Would you like to see Elroy the Elk and his Superhero friends in Hard Choices? Look no further. This year, the comic is available right here in digital format! Check it out:
Calling All Superheroes!Hard Choices features the Elks Drug Awareness Program Heroes Essay Contest for kids in fourth- through eighth-grade. The contest runs from October 15, 2007, through January 31, 2008. For all the super details, click here. There are all sorts of fun Marvel prizes. You have to enter to win, so be sure to spread the word. The Grand Prize winner will appear in a Marvel comic book with his or her favorite Marvel Superhero! Read last year's Grand Prize winner Vincent Buccigrossi's essay. And, look for Vincent in the December 2007 Marvel comic book featuring Spider-man, available where ever comics are sold!
