Our full-service lounge has a wide selection of domestic and imported beers, mixed drinks, wine, wine-coolers, fountain and canned sodas, and N.A. beers.

Sit in our lounge and watch the big screen television or one of the smaller ones!

If television is not your style you can watch 1000 foot freighters pass by right outside our wall of windows adjacent to the lounge, or sit outside on our deck.

The lounge is open to members anytime the Lodge is open.

B.P.O.E. #552 Dining Room / Restaurant, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

On Monday evening cornhole has priority with light snacks available from the kitchen.  Our restaurant serves dinner every Wednesday (revolving menu) and Friday (fish fry).  On Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday the dining room is closed unless our facility is rented out.

All dinners start at 5:30.  Take out available 906-635-1548


Wednesday night's revolving menu 

  • First Wednesday: Walleye with French Fries, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Dinner Roll
  • Second Wednesday: Broasted Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy or Fries, Green Beans or Corn, Dinner Roll
  • Third Wednesday: Broasted Chicken, Baked Potato or Fries, Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Dinner Roll
  • Fourth Wednesday: Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches and Au Jus, French Fries, Coleslaw
  • Fifth Wednesday: Broasted Chicken Wings served with Fries. 

Friday Night Fish Fry

Broiled or Deep Fried Whitefish, Deep Fried Perch.  Shrimp baskets, chicken tenders, and burgers may be available per request.  All fish dinners served with baked beans, coleslaw, and a dinner roll.

RV Facility

We have space for four RVs. Reservations are available (906-635-1548). You can also send a text message to our RV park manager, Terri East at 906-440-0704 for reservation assistance.  Water, and 50 and 30 amp service is available. There is a pump out station 1/4 mile away. $30.00 a day. The view of the St. Mary's River, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada and the passing lake freighters is spectacular.

Nearby Golf Courses

There are a number of golf options close to the Lodge, including Sault Ste. Marie Country Club, just a 3-Wood (or 2 minute drive) away.  Tanglewood Marsh Golf Course is a short (less than 15 minute) drive across town. A scenic 20 mile drive will get you to Wild Bluff Golf Course in Brimley.  If you want to try something a little further out, try the Munoscong Golf Course near Pickford,  The Oaks at Kincheloe, further south is Hessel Ridge Golf, or the you can try "the oldest continuously operated links course in Michigan" established in 1898, Les Cheneaux Golf Club.

A ferry ride away from Detour will take you at either the Drummond Island Township Golf Course or The Rock at Drummond Island Resort and Conference Center.

In season you might want to work on your short game at Lockside Mini Golf in downtown Sault Ste. Marie.
