Roebuck, AL Lodge No. 79 was instituted in 1889, and currently has 61 members.For the year 2024, the lodge was awarded BEACON and GRATITUDE Grants from the Elks National Foundation to assist in the development of programs serving local youth, veterans, and others in need.

The lodge meets 2nd & 4th Mondays only, at 804 Gadsden Hwy, between Roebuck Pkwy & I-459, Birmingham, AL.The Exalted Ruler of the Lodge is Toni Thrasher, and the Secretary is Mickey Drinkard.
