Dinner begins at 6 PM

Meeting at 7 PM

The Lodge was chartered in 1900 and the Founding Exalted Ruler was none other than the historic figure of John Kidder, of the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad (NCNG). Known to all in the Sierras as the "Never Come, Never Go".

The beautiful Lodge is a well cared for jewel in the heart of downtown Grass Valley and at the top of Main Street. The Lodge building was completed in 1912 & dedicated in September, 1913 and remains today with much of the early 1900 integrity as designed by the SF Architect firm of William Mooser.  The Lodge Room showcases the vaulted cathedral ceilings, high arched windows, magnificent woodwork, and an alter centerpiece of magnificent and artfully designed stained glass. This illustrates the stations of Fidelity, Charity, Justice and Brotherly Love.  The Ballroom is of the rare "spring loaded"  floating floor types, has high vaulted cathedral cealings, and contains a small stage in the front, and a full bar in the rear. It also has historical art renditions, depicting the early landscapes and lends itself to a magical ambience of "turn of the century" charm for your special event or reception.  The Social Quarters contains 2 full size pool tables, card /dining tables, big screen TV's and a full bar.

The Grass Valley Elks Lodge has a early 1900's charm & style rarely found in the modern day.
