My husband Paul, Gary & Carol Wilcox and myself was visiting Saratoga July 30, 2009. We decided to stop and check out your club. What a great time we had, your bartender (Jeff)and other members were so nice and friendly. They made sure we knew about the all you can eat pizza and wings on Friday night for $5.00. Jeff introduced me to a new drink ; he made sure we had anything we needed. I wish all the Elks had a bartender like Jeff. The ER was very friendly and gave us a tour of they wonderful club. They have bowling alleys on the bottom floor.Talk about catering to their members.Thank you for a great time. Please come and see us at Watertown Elks post #6240. We'll show you a good time

WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TO ??????? I CHECKED IT ON SNOPES & IT SAYS: TRUE !

This should make your blood boil...it DOES mine!

ABC NEWS BANS FLAG LAPEL PINS!

YESTERDAY THE BRASS AT ABC NEWS ISSUED ORDERS FORBIDDING REPORTERS TO WEAR LAPEL PIN AMERICAN FLAGS OR OTHER PATRIOTIC INSIGNIA. THEIR REASONING WAS THAT ABC SHOULD REMAIN NEUTRAL ABOUT 'CAUSES'.

SINCE WHEN IS SUP P ORT FOR PREVENTING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION SOME SORT OF A 'CAUSE'? SINCE WHEN IS PATRIOTISM TO BE DISCOURAGED?

I URGE YOU TO BOYCOTT ABC AND ITS SPONSORS AND AFFILIATES. WE ARE SLOWLY LOSING EVERYTHING OUR COUNTRY STANDS FOR AND EVERYTHING OUR MEN AND WOMEN FOUGHT AND DIED TO PRESERVE!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO AS MANY AS YOU CAN. THIS HAS BEEN VERIFIED THROUGH: http://www.snopes.com/rumors/noflags.asp

It's great to see such and fresh looking Lodge. Your web site is interesting and I know that it is very hard to keep it updated. Keep up the good work and we pray that all Elks would just give ten percent more volunteer time to their Lodge! Wouldn't it be GREAT!

Jerome Orton (orton50@aol.com)

One hundred years ago, your lodge helped the Grand Army of the Republic at their national encapment in Saratoga Springs in Sept. 1907.

There will be a living history event in Congress Park Sept. 7-9. On Sunday, Sept. 9, a memorial service will be held at the GAR plot in Greenridge Cemetery at 11 AM. It would be a honor to have your lodge as part of the honor guard. We will marking from Congress Park to Greenridge Cemetery.
