Hello, I enjoyed a moment with a Lady whom I met in your parking lot. I had just finished taking pictures of your beautiful building. She provided me with the idea to return one day when I could focus on other things in Newport besides the "Tower" across the street. I wish I could remember her name as she must be under your employ. My late father was a ELK in Battle Creek MI many years ago. I am Secretary of my local Masonic Lodge #503. Isn't fraternalism GREAT! I am from Dowling MI near Battle Creek.

NOT IMPRESSED (LOVE@VERIZON.NET)
I recently attended a shower at the Elk's in Newport, what a beautiful place. HOWEVER, I along with 80 other guests were not impressed by the lack of PROFESSIONALISM we dealt with! Upon arriving, we found the parking lot to be almost filled and a sign that wanted us to pay for parking. The manager was addressed & his response was DO NOT ASSUME THAT WHEN YOU BOOK THE HALL THAT THE PARKING LOT COMES WITH IT!!!! To him I say I know what happens when you assume things, YOU DEAL WITH AN A@# LIKE HIM!!!!!

I had the pleasure of stopping by your lodge on April 2nd with some friends for breakfast. The food and service was great!
I also had the opportunity to stop by later that afternoon for a few drinks to relax. Bartender Barbara was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful - she made us feel very comfortable. So comfortable in fact, that we plan to stop up again on April 16th and 17th for another visit.
Thanks for making my first visit to your lodge so great!
Brother Lois A. Pikora of Southington Lodge 1669 in Connecticut.
PS: If anyone has the opportunity to stop by my lodge, feel free to ask for me since I am also a bartender there and let me know that you are from Lodge 104. Thank You!
