Macon Fire Department Receives Donation
Recently, Macon Elks Lodge #999 donated $250 to the Macon Fire Department to assist in the purchase of their new mascot, "Sparky." Pictured below is Angela Price, Exalted Ruler, and Bethany Butner, Leading Knight, presenting the check to Olin Roper from the Macon Fire Department. The mission of the Macon Fire Department is to preserve lives, minimize loss of property, provide safety and welfare in our community to the citizens of Macon, Missouri by providing services directed at responding to and controlling fires, accidents, disasters, and other emergencies.
