Peyton Grant wins State Hoop Shoot contest
Peyton Grant of Newport won the Maine State Hoop Shoot championship in the girls’ age 12-13 division on Jan. 25 at the Augusta Elks Lodge. She now advances to the New England Regional round at Deering High School in Portland on March 28. She is the daughter of Darlene and Jody Grant of Newport.
