Boy, oh, boy – didn’t May fly by fast!
Well, June will also go by fast as we have an extremely active month ahead of us. We have the Members Birthday Party, Flag Day Ceremony, New Members’ Orientation, Initiation, Father’s Day Weekend BBQ, Father’s Golf Day, Canoe Raffle, Luau and BBQ Raffle and of course the weekly pool tournament. I really hope all of you members can find at least one activity to support and enjoy.
I presented the Cornville Chartered School with dictionaries during Youth Week. I will be presenting the Americanism State Winner Emilee Christine Fortier of Carrabec Community School in North Anson her award on June 14.
Congratulations to Julie Jewell, who was selected as our Mother of the Year. The honor was well-deserved and many family members were present for her award.
I want to thank all of the officers and members who attended Richard Corson’s funeral. You all did a great job at the Memorial Service.
