ELKS AT THE McKENNA-FRIEDMAN BALL
One of our favorite fund-raising events is the annual McKenna-Friedman Ball. February 13th saw a small but enthusiastic group (66 people) dance the evening away to the music of the Boomerang Band with our own member Larry Robinson, the drummer. Including a check for $500 from the Ladies Auxiliary we raised a total of $1490! Thank you to all who contributed!

The McKenna-Friedman Scholarship Fund was started in 1992 based on bequests from John McKenna and Leon Friedman Sr. Through many contributions and shrewd investing the fund has grown to the point that we have been able to award the first McKenna-Friedman Scholarship this year - more on this later.
