Flag Retirement Ceremony on Veterans Day
Thanks to Sue and Dave Waghorn for arranging this great Flag Retirement Ceremony, with the assistance of Lester Cole organizing the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of Troop 16 to handle all the flag requirements of the ceremony. 149 Flags were retired during this ceremony.
The ceremony began in the Lodge Room and then proceeded outdoors to the Flag pole located at the entrance to the Lodge. Approximated 50 to 60 people were in attendance of the Ceremony as this was the same evening for our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
A special Thank You to the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for performing an outstanding and patriotic job honoring our unserviceable flags.
