Officer Of The Year 2008 - 2009 - Ron Gesell

Ron Gesell was selected Officer of the Year for the roll he has taken in the Lodge. While he took his roll as an Officer very serious and performed his duties above and beyond; it was his other activities that influenced his selection. He was always there, whether it was his sincere involvement with the Boulder City Veterans Canteen program or just pitching in and helping wherever needed around the Lodge, including washing dishes and cooking Friday night dinners when no one else would. His participation was done without being asked; it was done because it needed to be done. He has shown One Elk can make a difference.
