The History of Tempe AZ Elks Lodge #2251
The institution date of Tempe Elks Lodge #2251 was on February 24, 1962 at the home of our parent lodge, The Mesa Elks. There were 156 charter members led by Exalted Ruler Bruce T. Amos when the dispensation was awarded by the Grand Lodge in 1962. At the institution date, the lodge was led by ER Nick R. Bozovich. The lodge building was constructed at its present site on South Hardy Drive in 1964 and after a number of renovations, it stands as a facility to be proud of.
