Dear Jim:

On behalf of Laradon's staff and participants, I would like to thank the Brighton Elks Lodge for the recent donation of the electric wheelchair and you in particular for bringing it to Laradon personally. It is such a wonderful, thoughtful and generous donation for the participants. As you know, every item we receive is important, but a gift given through pure kindness is the best gift of all.

Laradon is currently operating 15 unique programs and serving 16 school districts throughout Colorado. We at Laradon are proud to have served children and adults with developmental disabilities over the past 59 years. We are especially proud to have been the Major Project of the Colorado Elks for 57 of those 59 years. With the help of the Elks, we have been able to continue with the dream of co-founders Joe and Elizabeth Calabrese - that all people, regardless of their disability, should be given the opportunity to be educated, maximize their potential and increase their independence so they may be able to participate and contribute to their communities.

This electric wheelchair will give some special person the enjoyment of mobility and independence. Thank you for your contribution and support in helping Laradon to fulfill its commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Fraternally,

/signed
Timothy C. Hall
Executive Director
