You have one of the best pages I have seen!! Thank you for including RV info, as we love to visit Lodges in our travels. We love the Elks friendship we find in stopping at the Lodges. We always go in and visit and participate at the Lodges. We love the ones that have facilities but have stopped at many that do not, just to visit. We often learn of many things to see or do in the area. Thanks a bunch for such a good site!! I will brag about it for you!!

I feel like a guest having been gone a while but still pay my dues.

The wifes Great grandfather was a founding member & first Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge in Tacoma, Washington. She wanted to go see his picture that used to hang over the inside entry way, when we got there found out they'd taken and made a 8 x10 to hang along the wall with those who came after and had remodeled the lodge, auctioned off many old things that had been put in storage including the large framed picture. She would have wanted it had we known. Hope to be back in the Prescott Valley area this summer. Best of health to all.

Hi to my fellow Elk's,

I am lodge chaplain for St Petersburg Fl lodge #1224. I was born in Pima Arizona in the Gila Valley, raised all over the state as my dad was with El Paso Natural Gas and we moved a lot, but I call Phoenix home. I was surprised and pleased to see lodges so old in Arizona when it was still a territory. I Have been an Elk for 10 years and love the BPOE and devote many hours there. I have been to an Elks lodge in Willcox many years ago and would love to revisit there and visit other lodges. My nephew lives in Prescott he may come int ther as he is an Elk. His name is Rusty Fraker.

Good luck in all your endevors for good.

God Bless You All,

Bobbie Wycoff

from Kingman, AZ, Lodge #468

I am sorry to inform you that the manager from our Elk's Lodge (468) was relieved of her duties tonite, not warning, no nothing. Susie Bland has been the nanager at this Lodge for over 3 years and has done a wonderful job. Recently business has slacked, due to 7 new restaurants in the area. Susie has been blamed for this. I feel like this is a total injustice. The man who fired her, the head of the house committee, (Larry Carver) said she had not shown a profit, however, he himself owes the Lodge 2500 dollars for a wedding and has not paid it. Does this seem fair to you? It certainly does not to me. He has a personal click that her wants in there and Susie was not part of it. I am so tired of people useing other people to get what they want and he is a perfect example, that I cannot express it in this email. If you would care to discuss this in detail, please feel free to call me. My name is Dottye DeGroote and I am an employee at the Lodge and have been for over 9 months. Thank you for listening.

Impressive site, Rock! I looked over both your VHP and the external site, and it's obvious you've put many very long hours into it.

I just started today building the site for Beartooth Lodge 534 in Red Lodge, Montana. I will be pleased if I come up with a quarter the content you have!

Come see us if you're ever in the Yellowstone area!

Greetings from Arizona,

It is great to see more Lodges using the VHP's features. The Internet is a great way to share what your Lodge is doing. We can all learn from each other. The elks.org  VHP is a good place to start. Here are some examples of what can be done with websites.
