Description: Sussex Elks Lodge #2288 will be hosting a chartered coach bus trip to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA on Sunday, March 1, 2015. The first pick up will be at the Sussex Elks Lodge, 152 Lewisburg Road (RT 565), Wantage at 9:30 AM. The second one will be at the Newton Park & Ride, at the end of South Park Drive (behind the Newton Shop Rite) at 10 AM. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to boarding. Bagels, coffee, tea and water will be available prior to departure.
Cost for the trip is $30. Upon arrival at the casino, participants will receive $20 in slot play and a $5.00 food coupon. The casino has over 3,000 slot machines, Keno, Video Poker and live game tables. There is also a large outlet mall for your shopping pleasure. Guests will have five hours on site before returning home approximately 5:30 PM at Newton and 6:00 PM in Sussex.
To hold a seat on the bus call 973-383-0731. Payment is by check payable to Sussex Elks #2288 (memo: casino trip). Mail it to Sussex Elks Lodge #2288, PO Box 553, Sussex, NJ 07461. Upon receipt of the check, your seat will be confirmed. Seating is limited.
Proceeds from the trip will help the Elks Lodge continue its community outreach programs to include service to veterans, drug awareness programs, youth activities, scholarships, and support for children with special needs.
