The Hoop Shoot booth was hard to miss during the 2014 Elks National Convention—raucous laughter and cheering could be heard from the booth’s bleachers to Bourbon Street as Elks stepped up to the line to give it their best shot.

The chance to sink a free throw wasn’t the only reason to cheer on the Hoop Shoot in New Orleans.

At Closing Ceremonies, Getty Powell Award winners Kyla Jamison and B.J. Burries ended their Hoop Shoot journeys on a high note with impressive speeches, and a short Hoop Shoot film was premiered to an audience of thousands.
