Join the Elks

As an Elks scholar, you’ve joined the Elks family. When you’re ready, we encourage you to take the next step, and join the Elks!

Watch the video below to see why Elks scholar Erika Barger became an Elks member.

Who are the Elks?

Elks are community. No matter
where you go in the
country, an Elks Lodge is right
around the corner. With more than
900,000 members and 2,000 Lodges
nationwide, Elks are providing
charitable services that help build
stronger communities. Join us
in service to your community!
Community. When you join the Elks, you’re joining a community network. After college, many Elks scholars move to new places for work or family and don’t know many people. As an Elk, you’ll always be welcome at any Elks Lodge, no matter where you move. Become an Elk to meet new friends and connect with your community!

Service. A core component of being an Elk is a dedication to service. After college, joining the Elks is a great way to remain active in your community. The Elks offer a variety of opportunities for giving back to the community. For a list, click here. Also, find out how Elks are making a difference in their communities by learning about our Community Investments Program.

Take the next step! If you are interested in learning more about becoming an Elk, and would like to get in touch with a Lodge near you, email scholarship@elks.org.
