True Grit Elks
Elks share a strong sense of responsibility for instilling grit into the next generation. One such Elk is Bill Oakley, who has dedicated his life to helping young people gain skills they need to navigate life’s challenges. Danniele McKnight—a member of Frederick, Md., Lodge No. 684 for 13 years—has served Elkdom in various capacities, including as the ENF Fundraising Chair for her Lodge. Danniele exemplifies grit. To read how, check out her True Grit Elks bio.

Tom 'Tex' Tracy—a member of Wheaton, Ill., Lodge No. 2258, volunteers at the Lodge as ENF Fundraising Chair and is also involved with Veterans, Hoop Shoot, Soccer Shoot and Drug Awareness.
