U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) State and Local Resources

Easter Seals Camp Dixon is a national organization that provides programs for military families and veterans from employment programs to caregiver training to summer camps for military children.

VA Community Resource and Referral Centers is a list of center that offer veterans one-stop access to community-based, multiagency services

U.S. Department of Labor's Job Accommodations Network a list of state-level VA contacts through the Department of Labor.

Fisher House Foundation provides homes for the families of veterans and military members undergoing treatment, so they can stay nearby. They have houses in 64 locations across the country.

Hire Heroes USA is a national organization dedicated to helping veterans find fulfilling long-term employment.

Hiring our Heroes is a program run the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation with the goal of helping veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses find employment.

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America is a national organization and a great resource for getting in touch with and supporting younger veterans in your community.

The Mission Continues is an organization that gives returning veterans a chance to put their skills to use and serve their communities.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation works to ensure injured veterans and their families thrive and succeed.

Got Your 6 is a great organization dedicated to serving veterans in several different ways – they are also a great resource for serving veterans, and a great place for your Lodge to start its search.
