CIP Office On the Road September 18 - 21 for #ScholarCIPMegaTrip

Everyone in the CIP office will be packing their bags and hitting the road to the Carolinas for a barn-storming, Impact-Grant-site-visiting, scholar-meeting, whirlwind trip of a lifetime—more succinctly known as the #ScholarCIPMegaTrip.

From September 18 through 21, CIP staff members Chelsea, Colleen and Jocelyn will join forces with Elks Scholar Fellow Jenna to road trip to four Lodges and four university campuses throughout North and South Carolina. Stops are scheduled at Hickory, N.C., Lodge No. 1654, Morganton, N.C., Lodge No. 1852, Asheville, N.C., Lodge No. 608 and Pendleton, S.C., Lodge No. 2861—all of which are 2017 Impact Grant recipients.

Follow along with all of the fun! We’ll be posting photos and stories from the road on all of the ENF’s social media platforms.

If you contact our office September 18 – 21, just know that we can’t reply right away. We’ll be back in the office September 22 to share our #ScholarCIPMegaTrip experiences on Midday and to get back to approving grants!

The Elks National Foundation allocated $12.53 million this year to fund the Community Investments Program. Lodges meet local needs through Beacon, Gratitude, Promise, Anniversary and Impact Grants. To learn more about the Community Investments Program, please visit elks.org/CIP.
